Oberbaum Bridge

The elaborately designed Oberbaum Bridge in Berlin connects the districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg across the Spree since 1896. Not only road traffic passes over it, but also a line of the subway. The supporting structure for the train tracks is architecturally clad and decorated with figurative ornaments. The result is a structure that resembles a castle in the Brandenburg region.
