The Britz Tunnel will be closed for maintenance and repair work over the next four nights.
Until the night of Wednesday, the highway 100 in the direction of the south between the junctions Oberlandstraße and Späthstraße is closed, in the following two nights the opposite direction. This was announced by the federal highway authority on Monday. The closure begins in each case at 9 p.m. and ends at 5 a.m. in the early morning.
On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, the slip road at the Buschkrugallee junction (direction south/Schönefeld) will also be closed, and on the following two nights, the slip road at the Grenzallee junction (direction north/Tempelhof) and the Gradestraße junction will be closed. "The nightly closures are for tunnel overhauls and the regular inspection of all safety-relevant systems," the highway company announced. All detour routes would be signposted.
