The Museum of Photography and the Helmut Newton Foundation present all forms of photography from the 19th to the 21st century.
Since the summer of 2004, the Museum of Photography has been a crowd-puller for photography enthusiasts from all over the world. More than one million visitors have been fascinated by the exhibitions of the Helmut Newton Foundation in recent years.

With the opening of the glamorously renovated Kaisersaal in 2010, two protagonists will be presenting large exhibitions on a total of 2,000 square metres in the Museum of Photography: the Photography Collection of the Kunstbibliothek in the Kaisersaal on the second floor, and the Helmut Newton Foundation on the two lower floors with the presentation "Helmut Newton's Private Property", which has been successful for years, and the exhibitions on Helmut Newton's work and his companions.
The Photography Collection has 650 square metres of exhibition space and new lighting and air-conditioning technology in the Kaisersaal for the presentation of all forms of photography from the 19th to the 21st century. This is the largest exhibition room of a museum for photography in Berlin.
