Cambio Berlin

Cambio offers station-based car rental all over the Berlin metropolitan area. Cars can be rented spontaneously or reserved up to a year in advance.

Cambio is present in several German cities. In Berlin, the car sharing provider rents out a total of about 90 vehicles at 36 fixed stations.

Vehicles and Equipment

Cambio offers a fleet of vehicles of different sizes and price ranges, ranging from small cars to station wagons and vans. Every vehicle is equipped with a car seat for children., except vans.

Registration

To use Cambio's vehicles, customers must register on the provider's website or via the app. After providing personal data and selecting a tariff, the data is checked - either online or in person at a sales office. Now cars can be booked in the app, by phone call or via the website. Users from the age of 18 can rent small and mid-size cars. The entire Cambio fleet is available from the age of 25 or from two years of driving licence possession.

Rental Process and Prices

Anyone who wants to use a car can find a suitable car and a rental station nearby via the app or website. Cars can be requested spontaneously or reserved up to a year in advance. The start and end of the booking must be specified in advance, and the minimum rental period is one hour. If the car is returned earlier, half of the time price will be credited back. The card is required to rent the reserved car. At the end of the trip, the rental car is returned to the station where it was rented.

The provider offers various tariffs. These consist of the journey costs (time and kilometre price) and, depending on the desired intensity of use, a basic price. The basic tariff comes without a basic charge. Fuel or electricity are included.
