Queer Berlin

The gay and lesbian scene in Berlin is huge and offers a large number of events, bars, clubs and entertainment options. From protests to queer folk festivals, from crazy drag shows to museums dedicated to LGBTQ culture, Berlin has a lot to offer for gay and lesbian locals, visitors, and all those interested in queer life and culture.

Berlin's official Pride celebration is the Christopher Street Day, CSD for short. It is held each year in memory of the Stonewall Riots. Hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets to fight for the rights of LGBTQ people with a spectacular parade. Lots of music, food, drinks and a lively entertainment program make the CSD a joyful celebration for queer people and allies from Berlin and all over the world.
