Far from the traditional May Day celebrations in Kreuzberg, Hohenschönhausen celebrates a festival of diversity on the banks of the Obersee.

The festival under the motto "Cultures in the Park" wants to set an example for peaceful and tolerant coexistence. Those who stroll through the Obersee-Orankesee Park in the afternoon can look forward to literary surprises: members of the Obersee & Orankesee e.V. association will roam the paths and read poetic delicacies to interested visitors.

Live Music and Artistry by the Water Tower

The entertainment program starts at 3 p.m. on the vintage pickup truck stage by the water tower. Young and old spectators can look forward to diabolo artistry and lively, danceable music from all over the world.
