Even though the popular "Myfest" does not take place this year, many party fans will still flock to Kreuzberg's Mariannenplatz on the first of May.

May Day at Mariannenplatz offers open-air live music, speeches against fascism, racism and exclusion and age-appropriate activities for children. The small festival takes place around Mariannenplatz, Heinrichplatz and Oranienplatz, between 10 am and 10 pm. Die Linke (The Left Party) is one of the organizers of the street festival.
