The Kurdish Film Festival is a permanent fixture on the Berlin events calendar and is taking place for the 15th time this year.

The Berlin festival took place for the first time in 2002. For around a week, films from Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Greece, Israel, the USA, Armenia, France, Germany and Switzerland will be shown that depict Kurdish reality and were made by Kurdish filmmakers.
