The aim of Down Under is to present the multifaceted Australasian film culture across all genre boundaries and formats.

The only Australian film festival in the German-speaking region presents a program full of visual impressions from the fields of art, music and performances from Australia and New Zealand. Every year, visitors vote for their favorites in the "Best Film" and "Best Short Film" categories.
