The Transkontinentale festival focuses on artists from Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Africa.
140 years after the so-called "Congo Conference" or "Africa Conference", which was convened by Chancellor Bismarck in November 1884, the Humboldt Forum presents productions from the African continent.
The program is characterized by dance performances, poetry slams, performances and theater. The theme of colonialism plays a central role in keeping with the occasion, with the artists looking at the topic from different, very unique perspectives. Participants include Albert Ibokwe Khoza, Zora Snake, DeLaVallet Bidiefono, Florence Gnarigo, Prince Kamaazengi Marenga and Logan February.
