VeloCity Berlin

July 12 and 13, 2025

The VeloCity bicycle race takes participants along almost all of Berlin's major sights.

The VeloCity route starts in Tiergarten and is completely closed to public transport. This takes the riders through the heart of Berlin's vibrant metropolis and its green surroundings, past the city's most important sights, such as the East Side Gallery, Victory Column and Reichstag. The reward for their sporting efforts is the finish on the Straße des 17. Juni, the most impressive finishing straight in Germany, as well as a medal for the participants.

VeloCity Routes: City Course and Southern Loop

With its two distances, VeloCity, the successor event to the Velothon Berlin, appeals to both beginners and ambitious amateur cyclists. The 60-kilometer city course leads from the start at the Brandenburg Gate past numerous sights to the home stretch on Straße des 17. Juni. The extended course is 100 kilometers long and, in addition to the city course, leads to Stahnsdorf, Ahrensdorf, Großbeeren and back.
