Railway Festival at the Schöneweide Depot

Berlin railway festival in Schöneweide

The railway festival invites all locomotive fans to get to know the Schöneweide railway depot.

Every year in September, 100 years of railway history can be relived at the Eisenbahnfest (Railway Festival). Now in its 20th year, the event opens the doors of the Schöneweide depot and invites visitors to marvel and discover. View historic railways, take a ride on a steam locomotive or learn about the tasks of a train driver from earlier times: There is plenty on offer for young and old.

Selection of Historic Railways

More than 20 railways and carriages will be on display. The selection ranges from the express locomotive 03 to freight steam locomotives of the 50 and 52 series to the class 74 light rail steam locomotive (1916).
