On the first weekend of October, a Pumpkin Festival takes place on Akazienstraße and Belziger Straße in Schöneberg.

At the center of this street festival are more than 10,000 pumpkins in 20 different varieties, which will be transformed into pumpkin soups, macaroons, cakes, lasagnas, frittatas and other delicacies by the numerous participating restaurateurs. In addition, merchants from all over Germany will sell products for everyday use and unique gifts.
