Stargazers are invited to the "Long Night of Astronomy" in October.
Look at the stars, ask questions and immerse yourself in strange galaxies: On this evening in October, questions about observations in the sky and the vastness of the universe will be answered.
Star enthusiasts young and old meet experts and other amateur astronomers at the Long Night of Astronomy. Various telescopes are also available every year and invite visitors to look up at the stars. In Berlin, the Long Night is celebrated in and around the Zeiss Großplanetarium. For the first time, the event is being organized in many planetariums, observatories and other institutions throughout Germany.
If it rains cats and dogs on the day of the event, the Long Night of Astronomy will unfortunately have to be cancelled. Clouds will interfere with the observation of the sky, but the event will still take place under a cloudy sky.
