Berliners and their guests will celebrate the evening of 9 November with a big show at Brandenburg Gate.
The music festival in front of Berlin's most important landmark brings national and international artists to the stage. The Staatskapelle conducted by Daniel Barenboim and WestBam will be involved in the stage show. All bands and musicians performing at Brandenburg Gate that day and their songs or stories will be closely connected to the events of 1989/90. Admission is free.
Besides the performances of the Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of Daniel Barenboim and the techno pioneer WestBam, guests from all over the world can look forward to the following musicians: Anna Loos, Banda Internationale, Zugezogen Maskulin, Die Zöllner, Dirk Michaelis and Trettmann. Further highlights are a real-time technology dance performance, the play "Voices of Freedom" and a laser harp performance.
Please note: Alcoholic beverages and liquids over half a litre in volume and in glass bottles are not permitted on the premises. In addition, only luggage up to DIN A4 format can be brought along. This does not apply to walking aids, wheelchairs, prams and the like.
