Bicycle Rally of the ADFC

As part of the Sternfahrt bike rally, thousands of cyclists will gather and advocate for better cycling conditions in Berlin.

The ADFC wants to mobilize people all over Germany to get outside, make their voices heard and demonstrate for better traffic policies for cyclists. With almost 1,000 kilometers of route, the Sternfahrt is the largest bicycle demonstration in the world. In recent years, up to 250,000 people have taken part.

Considerable Traffic Restrictions Due to the Rally

From Sunday morning, road closures and traffic obstructions and thus longer travel times are to be expected citywide. Every year, a part of the rally route leads over the Berliner Stadtring, the A100 and the Avus (A115). The highways will be closed to motorized traffic while the cyclists are on the route. On the way to the final rally, there will thus be massive traffic restrictions, especially in the districts of Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf and Tiergarten. The Straße des 17.
