In September, Berlin becomes the capital of literature. Around 200 authors from over 40 countries are expected at the International Literature Festival

The Berlin International Literature Festival presents the literary diversity of contemporary prose and poetry from around the world. Renowned authors contribute to a diverse program alongside international new discoveries.

Participating Authors

The 2024 International Literature Festival will welcome Szczepan Twardoch, Nina Six, Nando von Arb, Nora Krug, Beata Umubyeyi, Nicolas Mahler, Ben Okri, Noo Saro-Wiwa, Helon Habila, Rachel Cusk, Tash Aw, Mithu Sanyal, Paul Lynch, Hiroko Oyamada among others.
