Krisis

The exhibition «Krisis» presents photographic works by 19 students of the Neue Schule für Fotografie Berlin, which explore a broad spectrum of critical experiences.

Learning photography in the midst of a year of personal and social turmoil was a challenge for the students of the International Class of the Photography School in Berlin-Mitte. But they found inspiration in the struggles they have experienced or witnessed in recent months. The exhibition «Krisis» deals with the pandemic and its effects, but also with other social and personal crises, such as the topics of gender identity, career and mental health.

On display are works by Roberto Cicala, Paule Cubeddu, Frauke Decoodt, Shanélle de Melo, Avery Edelman, Cha Giordano, Rebecca H. Gomis, Aja Jacques, Stefanie Krasser, Francisco Macfarlane, María Martí Sanz, Lisa Martini, Netta Mattila, Edward Nurton, Armin Rafili, Gabriel Ross-Pelat, Juliane Röthig, Jehan Sheikh and Maren Søndergaard.
