Mandela: The Official Exhibition

The interactive exhibition «Mandela: The Official Exhibition» is dedicated to the life of the South African activist, politician and icon Nelson Mandela.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate who died in 2013, is regarded as the leading figure in the struggle for freedom against oppression and social injustice not only in his home country, and was the most important pioneer of the largely peaceful transition from apartheid to a democratic state in South Africa. The exhibition «Mandela: The Official Exhibition» at Bikini Berlin traces the life of the icon on 700 square metres with artefacts, films and photos. Also on display are personal objects on loan from the Mandela family, museums and archives around the world.
