The audiovisual installation and live performance "Deep Web" at Kraftwerk shows installations by light artist Christopher Bauder with sounds by musician Robert Henke.

Christopher Bauder is probably best known in Berlin for his installation of the "Lichtgrenze" on the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and his exhibition "Skalar - Reflections on Light and Sound" in 2018. His light installations can also be seen in museums, exhibitions, festivals and concerts around the world.

Animated lines of light and multidimensional sounds

The installation in the former power plant in Köpenicker Strasse consists of 175 motorized balls, 12 high-power laser systems. The light lines and reflections in "Deep Web" are intended to create an analogy to digital networks with their nodes. The moving spheres float through the space to create a choreography in which they are illuminated by the lasers.

Exhibition and eight live performances

The musical accompaniment to "Deep Web" is provided by the Munich composer and artist Robert Henke. The Kraftwerk is the ideal location to let this enormous light and sound sculpture have an effect on you. In addition to the exhibition, there are also eight live performances.
