Baroque Pathways

The Museum Barberini in Potsdam presents masterpieces from the collections of the Barberini and Corsini Palaces in Rome. Among the exhibits is one of Caravaggio's most important works.

The 1589/99 painting "Narcissus" by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio is undoubtedly the highlight of the impressive exhibition in the Potsdam Museum Barberini. The exhibition "Baroque Pathways" (Wege des Barock) is the museum's first project in the field of the Old Masters and aims to show the themes and stylistic developments of the Baroque in Rome.
