The exhibition in the Parochialkirche shows 34 reproduced works by Michelangelo, which can be seen in the original on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. Visitors will also learn about the life and work of the Italian Renaissance artist.

Every year, visitors from all over the world flock to the Sistine Chapel in Rome to see Michelangelo's frescoes. These cover almost 800 square metres, but are difficult to detect from a distance. In the Parochialkirche (Reformed parochial church) in Berlin you now have the chance to view 34 of his masterpieces as replicas in original size at close range and discover previously unseen details.

From the Creation of Adam to Judgment Day

The frescoes depict stories from the Old and New Testaments, from the very famous portrayal of Adam's creation to Judgment Day. Through this new perspective, the works of Michelangelo can be perceived in their entire dimension or experienced for the first time.
