The THF Tower on the site of the former Tempelhof Airport immerses visitors in the planning and history of the area and offers an incomparable view from its rooftop terrace.

Located on the site of the former Tempelhof Airport, the THF Tower is a former air traffic controller's tower. It is open to the public thanks to extensive renovations in keeping with its status as a historic monument. Visitors can reach the observation deck via a modern staircase, which is cleverly connected to the historic building fabric.

Exhibition in the THF Tower: Ideas about Tempelhof Airport in Pictures

Once you have climbed the architecturally interesting staircase to the sixth floor, you can experience the transformation of Tempelhof Airport in the exhibition "Horizons. Tempelhof Airport 1990-2022". The images on display show ideas and concepts that have been conceived for the use and design of the building and the airfield since the airport's closure. From October 2023, an exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of Tempelhof Airport will also be on display.
