With feature films, documentaries and short films, the Ukrainian Film Festival showcases the range of Ukrainian cinema and invites the Berlin audience to explore the current film landscape in Ukraine.

In 2023, the Ukrainian Film Festival took place for the fourth time and was once again overshadowed by the ongoing war in Ukraine. The motto in 2023 was: "No time like home". The festival looked at the concept of home and belonging to a place and explores how definitions of home change and adapt to circumstances over time. The motto for 2024 is not yet known.
