Sauna Festival

The Nordic Embassies Berlin are organising a big sauna festival at Felleshus to mark the end of their exhibition "The Sauna. Really hot. Really Finnish."

In Finland, the sauna is inextricably rooted in Finnish culture. Whether large or small, on bicycles, rafts, lonely islands or even in tents: Finns always find an opportunity to work up a good sweat. As part of the exhibition "The Sauna. Really hot. Really Finnish.", a sauna has even moved to the roof terrace of the Felleshus. Registered visitors can enjoy a free sauna there on selected days.

Delicacies, Music and Competitions

Visitors have the opportunity to try out different types of sauna - such as a smoke sauna or a tent sauna. There will be culinary delights from the Saimaa region. Local delicacies include särä, stuffed meat pies, lörtsy and salmon soup. Musical entertainment is provided by Kaisa's Machine and Sari Kaasinen. Sunday is family day, with plenty of activities for children and young people.
